LED converters and various function modules form the basis of LUMICA® MEC. The MEC converter converts the mains voltage to the output voltage used by LED lights. What makes it special: it can output both 12 volts and 24 volts. It is available in four power levels between 18 and 120 watts.
Innovative and space-saving
Like the connection of the LED lights, the combination and switching of the lights and light groups is innovatively simple and space-saving. The more complex the lighting scenarios for kitchens and living areas are, the more helpful this system is. On the one hand, the function modules for connecting the colour-changing LED lights and light groups can be combined with each other any way you like. On the other hand, they are highly compatible and offer slots for sensors and switches.
Existing LED lights can easily be integrated into the lighting control or an existing smart home system. If the ZigBee modules of the converter are registered in the Zigbee 3.0 standard via the Philips Hue Bridge and a smart speaker is integrated into the smart home system, the lighting scenarios can be controlled extremely conveniently by voice command.
