SILQUA sink – the highlight among the new products at the trade fair
At Naber’s stand at the area30, countless kitchen experts drew fresh inspiration for clarity and simplicity. They voiced their appreciation for the excellent functionality of the innovative kitchen accessories. They also acknowledged that Naber products have always been aesthetically outstanding. This time’s impressive highlight: SILQUA, the built-in sink developed in collaboration with Hans Winkler Design, Grafenau. Its purist design impressed with soft transitions inspired by flowing water and with sophisticated details.

With SILQUA, Naber presented an outstanding sink design available in several installation variants, materials, and trend colours. While the side radii are tightly designed, the transitions in the surface are softly rounded. These details reduce the cleaning work and the risk of impact damage. The faucet ledge with integrated drainer, from which water flows gently into the basin, attracted particular attention. The faucet is centrally positioned so your hands stay inside the sink when you use it, and you don’t create puddles outside the basin.
Alongside SILQUA, high-quality composite built-in sinks have been added to the NABER-CONTURA® range. This robust material with a silky surface is particularly suitable for boiling water faucets. Naber has introduced various sized new models to its range, some of which are also suitable for flush mounting. Like SILQUA, some are available in fascinating new colours, including marbled white and shimmering brown. Substructure sinks, which present the easy-care composite material in a charmingly understated new light, also made their debut at the trade fair.
Refined drinking water straight from the faucet
Naber’s innovative strength is evident both in its unique sink and faucet designs and in its additional or functional innovations. Namor®, the series of premium kitchen faucets made from 304 stainless steel, now also includes the matching washing-up liquid dispenser. Among the impressive variety of kitchen faucets on display at the area30, the latest newcomers to the ARMATE® range attracted particular attention. The Wasserwerk series Grace, for example, impressed with its slightly playful yet robust elegance in attractive colour combinations as well as in all black. By contrast, Vireo 6 with its flexible soft-touch hose focused on ease of use and an extremely wide scope of action.
With Aqvella, Naber is presenting its first practical cooling and filter system coupled with an elegant kitchen faucet. The twist handle on the left of the faucet selects whether sparkling or chilled and filtered still water should flow. The Aqvella technical unit is located in the sink base cabinet, and as an expert for space-saving waste collection systems, Naber naturally presented combination solutions for these special cases at the area30 trade fair. For example, the Pullboy Soft Fusion® by WESCO®: the smooth-running pull-out mechanism can be integrated into cabinets with loose front panels, leaving space to the left of the waste containers for water conditioning equipment.
Seating comfort and creative lighting
The numerous trade visitors to the area30 found the presentation of the new seating furniture from the TABLON® Interieur range doubly rewarding. First, they were impressed by the outstanding furniture design, then by the comfortable seating. The swivelling star-shaped frames with covers in easily combinable colours were tested extensively, as were the easy-care covers made from recycled materials. The furniture presented by Naber, including the high-quality table frames, lend character and atmosphere to the kitchen and dining area and harmonise well with a variety of interior styles.
Open shelving in living areas creates a pleasant, homely atmosphere. Several of the excellent railing and shelving systems in the ACCOMODA® range also incorporate the theme of lighting. This is because lighting scenarios can be staged even more impressively when railing systems or shelving elements are part of the concept. In Löhne, Naber presented Lucento as an outstanding example: a flexible aluminium system with a refined black finish. The LED light in the railing tracks can be dimmed, and its colour temperature can be infinitely varied.
In the field of lighting technology, the fascinating new LED lights were closely examined and discussed in detail. In addition to stylish surface-mounted and under-cabinet lights, straightforward handle strip lights and impressive spotlights and pendant lights for the Easytrack rail system, the trade fair programme also included highly compatible converters. With technical solutions from Naber, individual lighting concepts are comparatively easy to implement despite their complexity – including connection to a smart home system and integrated voice control.
Inspiration for visitors and for Naber
Smartphones and tablets are now just as much a part of everyday kitchen life as ovens and refrigerators. With new sockets and support elements from the CON-AKTIV® and TRADUR® ranges, batteries can be charged anytime alongside other tasks. Some of the newcomers presented in Löhne especially add to the ambience, as they can be flush mounted in furniture or worktops. Other solutions feature retractable USB cables or are compatible with Qi technology.
“Let’s inspire”, the wall installation made of colourful letters, adorned the spacious bistro and meeting area of Naber trade fair stand. As always, exciting conversations were held with trade fair visitors from Germany and abroad, providing valuable inspiration for future product developments. The WESCO® multi-containers received a great deal of positive feedback. In the centre of the Naber venue, they demonstrated their strengths like an island of colourful exclusivity.
As expected, COMPAIR® ventilation technology also attracted a great deal of attention. As the market leader, Naber offers the COMPAIR® GREENflow filter system and COMPAIR PRIME flow® air ducts, which together form the most effective recirculating air system for downdraft extractors currently available — in addition to highly effective exhaust air solutions for almost all types of cooker hoods.
