Firework of innovations at the Naber trade fair stand

Let’s Make, this year’s motto for the Naber presentations at the area30, was perfectly suited to the lively atmosphere at stand H 21. Animated discussions alternated with intensive viewing and testing of the new faucets, LED lights, niche rear walls, seating, waste collectors and other accessory attractions. In the middle of it all, the dazzling WESCO® range proved extremely popular with trade visitors.

WESCO® in matt and glossy

Since acquiring the WESCO® trademark rights in March 2024, Naber has continued the traditionally very high-quality range of floor-standing waste bins, outdoor and storage containers. With its colourful diversity, the product group supplements the Naber full range of products and gives the kitchen ambience fresh new momentum. This is not only achieved with vibrant, glossy colours such as red, pink, yellow and green, but also with matt surfaces in white, sand, graphite and black.

The WESCO® containers offer an extremely charming and highly functional solution for disposing of waste and storing bread, pastries and many other things. They are robust and durable and feature appealing soft properties for maximum ease of use in everyday life. The lids of the waste containers close slowly and silently, bin liners do not slip, bread is ventilated in the tin so that it is neither too moist nor too dry – there are so many thoughtful details that underpin the top quality of the WESCO® range.

Stainless steel window and low-pressure faucets

Economical, precise and perfectly designed, every single model in the Namor® series confirms that when it comes to kitchen faucets, inner values are just as important as outer ones. The models are made entirely of stainless steel and feature a high-quality ceramic cartridge with scald protection. A laminar jet regulator is an integral part of the high-pressure faucets.

The area30 visitors were especially interested in the newcomers to the series. Besides the low-pressure variants, these included the window faucets, which are only 25 millimetres high when tilted, with one exception: for Namor® 4 with pull-out shower head, a height of 50 millimetres needs to be planned. The range comprises three highly contemporary designs in the surface colours brushed stainless steel and matt black. The L-shaped models Namor® 3 and Namor® 4 are now also available in the colour gunmetal, an exquisite shimmering greyblack.

Converter for wireless light control

Lighting technology proves to be a topic with strong dynamics and great potential. Kitchen experts found out about innovative lights and how they can be integrated into easy-to-control lighting concepts. An important component of Naber’s LUMICA® LIC LED system are converters that convert alternating current into direct current. Alongside the converters for 15, 30 or 60 watts of power output, Naber has added a new power supply unit to its range, the MEC Driver, which is available in six wattages and is compatible with various socket types. LED lights with 12 and 24 volts can be connected using function modules and controlled by sensors and remote controls. The lights can also be integrated into the ZigBee 3.0 wireless standard, which, for example, makes control by voice command possible in the smart home environment.

The expanded range of LUMICA® LED lights also wowed the trade fair visitors. The new products support simple switching between work light and ambient light and can be smartly controlled using the ZigBee wireless standard. Like the Sun Beam lamp mounted from below, the Sun Romo pendant light emits light directly downwards and indirectly into the surroundings. Naber presented an attractive interior design system in the shape of Easytrack. It contains longitudinal tracks and connectors as well as pendant, spot and linear luminaires as light sources. The ceiling-mounted track can, for example, be extended from the cooking island into the dining and living area.

Avoid damage caused by unguided recirculating air

Kitchen ventilation technology starts with the extractor and ends outside in the open air or in high-performance filters. What is sometimes regarded as a third option is not advisable: channelling the moist, greasy vapours through the hob extractor into the base cabinet and leaving them there. According to a sworn expert for fitted kitchens, this should be regarded as technically unsound, as proven by court judgements. The reason: when moisture and grease accumulate permanently in the furniture body, they become a breeding ground for mould growth. This damages the fabric of the building and the health of kitchen users.

The air duct systems from Naber are technically advanced and their energy efficiency and ease of installation could be seen and experienced at the area30. The focus was on the COMPAIR PRIME flow® air ducts, the modular recirculating air filter system COMPAIR® GREENflow and optimised wall conduct technology for the wall outlet in exhaust air solutions.

Sustainable and comfortable: new chairs and stools

New chairs and stools from the TABLON® interior range caused quite a stir. The comfort experienced when testing the seats gave no indication that the stylish and hard-wearing fabric covers are made from recycled material based on PET bottles. The sustainability aspect is combined with further positive product features: the trendy Scandinavian design with powder-coated black four-legged frame and the comfortable upholstery with pocket spring core. Practically all the new seating furniture is available in both fixed and swivelling versions. Whether fabric upholstery or imitation leather, whether black or stainless steelcoloured frame surface: in their appealing colours, these extremely comfortable newcomers attract attention without dominating the furnishing style.
