Preview küchenwohntrends Salzburg 2025:
More comfort thanks to smart technology
Intelligent technology promotes well-being in everyday kitchen life. Naber will be demonstrating how this can be achieved at the küchenwohntrends Salzburg from May 7 to 9, 2025. Lighting technology, for example, creates atmospheric settings, while kitchen ventilation technology provides clean indoor air. The kitchen accessories supplier Naber also offers inspiration when it comes to sinks and faucets, railing and shelving systems, waste collectors and a whole lot more. Many solutions, including stylish chairs and stools, are also convincing in terms of sustainability.

Controlled air flow with hob extractors
The air ducts from Naber are very flexible and easy to install and can be
used with a wide range of high-performance extractor systems. Kitchen
planners nowadays pay particular attention to the air flow behind hob
extractors. Installed directly at the hob, this popular type of extractor
draws cooking vapours down behind the furniture body. With unguided
recirculating air, moisture and pollutants can accumulate here and lead
to dangerous mould growth.
Naber will be showing two scenarios for how hob extractors can be safely
and cleanly integrated at Stand E 51 in Hall 10. With guided recirculating
air, the steam is channelled through air ducts into special filter
boxes. They are located in the base of the kitchen cabinet and gently
guide the cleaned cooking vapours back into the room. In exhaust air
operation, the cooking vapours are channelled entirely out of the kitchen
through the wall conduct. In both cases, Naber recommends using
the currently most effective air duct technology, COMPAIR PRIME flow®.
This minimises air resistance so that the extracted cooking vapours flow
practically unhindered, even through bends.
Next level smart home lighting
To create a comfortable atmosphere, the right lighting for the situation is essential.
With LUMICA® MEC, Naber has a new generation of LED converters in its
range that are highly compatible and greatly simplify the lighting control. Their
flexibility is based on an intelligent plug-in system with which a wide variety of
light sources can be integrated into the lighting design, either individually or in
groups, including those already fitted in the building. A single converter supplies
both 12 volts and 24 volts via plugged-in function modules.
With its clear structures and numerous options, LUMICA® MEC proves itself a
convenient smart home lighting 2.0 system. It also offers slots for sensors and
switches and can easily be integrated into an existing smart home system. For
light control using a smart speaker, the corresponding modules are registered
in the ZigBee 3.0 standard. Whether by voice command or the touch of a button:
alongside convenient control technology, Naber offers numerous fascinating
LED lights with colour change functions for a wide variety of lighting scenarios.
WESCO® for a cheerful home
In the spring of 2024, Naber acquired the WESCO® trademark rights, and the
product lines of the traditional brand are now back on the market. Divided into
the product groups free-standing waste containers and outdoor and storage,
the popular household goods are set to impress at the Naber stand E51 in Salzburg.
Their strengths lie above all in the excellent quality of the materials and
the vibrant colour schemes. Striking surfaces in glossy red, yellow, pink or green
liven up the kitchen design in the same way as more discreet colour variants in
matt white, sand or graphite. The design goes hand in hand with outstanding
technology. The bread bins, storage and biscuit tins, waste collectors, as well
as the free-standing and wall-mounted ashtrays from WESCO® are built to last
and offer outstanding ease of use.
With many other product highlights from its full range of accessories, Naber will
be demonstrating in Salzburg how to turn a functionally furnished room into the perfect kitchen. These include product series such as the high-quality Namor®
kitchen faucets made entirely of stainless steel, versatile built-in sinks, effective
rail and shelf systems with optional lighting and, of course, highly flexible waste
separation systems. The latest additions to the TABLON® interior range include
stools and chairs with fabric covers made from recycled materials instead of
raw materials. They are every bit as trendy, comfortable and hard-wearing as
the other TABLON® seats, and they are generally also available in a swivelling
version.
