The COMPAIR® window contact switch radio system is a clever all-in-one solution for targeted management of extract air control. It is used if, in addition to the extractor bonnet, room air-dependent fireplaces such as a stove or a fireplace are also present. The installation of the radio extract air control or a wired control is required by law under the conditions mentioned. Negative pressure in the room is avoided, where dangerous gases can form without a supply of fresh air from outside. The set includes a safety switch via which the cooker bonnet is connected to the mains. In addition, there are two contact switches with wireless radio transmission, which are attached to the window frame and the window sash. If one of the fireplaces is in operation, the extractor bonnet can only be switched on if the window is detected as open. The contact switch is equipped with an external antenna to ensure secure transmission of information. This applies, for example, when using a stainless steel chimney cowl, as this weakens the signal. The antenna is attached to the wall or ceiling next to the cladding.
