Five zones that constitute the kitchen world

Promising kitchen ventilation systems!

Each of your projects is individual: dimensions, layout, equipment selection, customer wishes. A simple L- or U-kitchen or a complex island variant. Naber knows them all and always has the best solution - your advantage!

Whatever the form, whatever the size: each kitchen has five basic function zones. Stocking, storing, washing, preparing and cooking & baking are ideally arranged in a clockwise direction. Left-handers work anti-clockwise. We show how the five zones are distributed in the different types of kitchens on the basis of examples. This helps you to determine the position of the extractor system. If cooking and baking are separated, the extractor is, of course, positioned in the cooking zone.

U-kitchen

The solution for compact floor plans with large cabinet volumes

Island kitchen

Here, not only the cook is the star, but also the kitchen itself. Ideal for generous floor plans and guests. Plan powerful exhaust air solutions for island hoods in good time!

G-kitchen

Compact floor plan with view into the living room. The cooking counter requires a perfect extractor system with a high air capacity

L-kitchen

Everything at the right angle: the cooking zone on the outside wall allows for very short routing. If not, the Naber flat ducts aid mounting on the wall cupboards.

Single-row kitchen

It couldn’t be simpler: with Naber components, even simple extractor hoods perform well, even if the routing is longer.

Galley kitchen

This double-row kitchen ideally also has short routing to the outside.
