Promising kitchen ventilation systems!
If the outlet for the extract air of a extractor hood is not available on site, a core hole is the solution. That sounds more complicated than it actually is. Especially with the COMPAIR PRIME flow® wall conduct set. Whichever product you choose, our instructions will get you safely to your destination.
Mounting the wall conduct in a core hole
The minimum diameter of the core hole depends on the diameter of the wall conduct:
100 mm at least 103 mm
125 mm at least 132 mm
150 mm at least 162 mm
The minimum and maximum length of the wall conduct are to be observed. Exhaust air wall conducts are usually telescopic and can be shortened.
Carry out the core drilling and remove any masonry residue and drilling dust.
Adjust the telescopic pipe to the wall thickness and secure either with silicone or a no-pressure polyurethane foam. Do not use PU foam, as this expands until it is fully hardened and may deform the tube.
Clean inside of the pipe of dust and grease.
Wrap the THERMOBOX with the sealing tape provided and insert it by hand into the opening. Make sure that the axis of the THERMOBOX is exactly vertical.
Mount external blind and internal connection.
Innovative: Insert COMPAIR PRIME flow® without tools
Each COMPAIR PRIME flow® wall conduct is an all-round carefree solution for the separate installation of wall conduct and finishing during kitchen assembly. Each COMPAIR PRIME flow® wall conduct set includes a separately packaged shell construction set and can therefore be installed separately from the kitchen installation on site during the shell construction phase. This is as innovative as it is simple: the new wall connection sleeve fixes the pipe securely in the core drill hole. Airtight, without silicone and completely without tools! Cleverly designed with a plastering edge and alignment aid for the two plugs.
The kitchen fitter simply removes the hard foam plugs later and installs the extractor system and the attractive, weatherproof stainless steel louvre in two award-winning designs in a clean, dust-free pipe. No sealant or adhesive tape is required.
