The CON-AKTIV^® Twist 2 USB A/C built-in socket is a decorative eye-catcher within contemporary kitchen units. Whether it is chosen in a square shape with rounded edges or in an elegant round shape depends on personal preferences. In addition to the single socket, USB chargers of type A and C with a quick-charging function for mobile phones and tablets are available. Both sockets are located under lowered lids, which are equipped with an automatic and at the same time damped opening mechanism. They can be removed very easily for cleaning or subsequent replacement. For safety reasons, a 3-pole protective contact is integrated into the socket element, supplemented by increased protection against accidental contact. Thanks to the low installation depth, it can easily be placed above a kitchen cupboard with drawer elements. The housing is made of plastic, the covers are made of die-cast zinc. The complete package includes a mains connection cable and a loose Schuko plug. Colour versions are available in a wide range of combinations to suit kitchen planning and retrofitting.
