This safety switch enables reliable control of hard-wired extractor hoods via a wireless radio transmission. It is ideal for systems that are supplied ex-works without a conventional plug connection, such as modern hob extractors, downdraft extractors or island hoods. A stable connection is ensured by an external antenna, which guarantees good signal quality even in demanding installation situations, such as behind metal panels. The receiver is installed directly in the supply line of the extractor hood system. This constitutes an intervention in the appliance's electrics, which is why the warranty and guarantee conditions of the respective manufacturer should be checked. The complete system is supplied as a set consisting of a transmitter and receiver, including the necessary mounting material and the appropriate batteries. The integrated functions include continuous monitoring of the radio link and the battery status. A practical detail for conventional hoods is that the lighting can still be used even when the fan motor is switched off. The system is also designed for use with BLDC motors, such as those found in some newer extractor hoods and ventilation systems.

Installation in the extractor system is carried out via the power supply line (phase conductor), via a potential-free switch contact (if factory-fitted), or via the phase conductor of the fan motor (only possible with an AC motor!).

ATTENTION: this requires intervention in the electrical system of the extractor system!

Note on use in combination with BLDC motors:

Some extractor hoods, downdraft extractors and ventilation systems are equipped with what is known as a BLDC motor. When using the third phase (phases one and two are used for the hob), this can be switched separately. A suitable connection is often already provided by the appliance industry – and can be used for the wireless radio switch.

For conventional single-phase AC motors, we recommend 7051001.
