Description
Window contact switch for hob extractors, with external antenna, white

Safety switch with wireless radio transmission for cooker hoods with a fixed wired power connection (without a factory-fitted Schuko plug), such as hob extractors, downdraft ventilation or island hoods.

Equipped with an external antenna for use even in difficult reception conditions, such as when mounted behind a metal or stainless steel panel.

Installation in the extractor system is carried out via the power supply line (phase conductor), via a potential-free switch contact (if factory-fitted), or via the phase conductor of the fan motor (only possible with an AC motor!).

ATTENTION: this requires intervention in the electrical system of the extractor system!

Please observe the warranty/guarantee conditions of the hood manufacturer.

Complete system with transmitter and receiver, including mounting materials and batteries (long service life, low energy consumption).

— switching capacity up to 1449 W (6.3 A)

— radio link monitoring

— battery monitoring

— relay contact 5 A normally open (potential-free)

— installation in extractor hood (motor supply line)

— tested in accordance with EU Directives 2014/53/EU (RED), 2014/35/EU and 2014/30/EU

— when installed in a conventional extractor hood, the lighting can be switched on even when the fan motor is off.

Note on use in combination with BLDC motors:

Some extractor hoods, downdraft extractors and ventilation systems are equipped with what is known as a BLDC motor. When using the third phase (phases one and two are used for the hob), this can be switched separately. A suitable connection is often already provided by the appliance industry – and can be used for the wireless radio switch.

For conventional single-phase AC motors, we recommend 7051001.
