The CON-AKTIV® Piccolino socket with recessed mounting proves to be both discreet and effective. It is ideally suited for installation in worktops on kitchen islands. The socket unit provides a convenient and safe connection for kitchen appliances that are not in constant use. With its elegant oval design, it blends harmoniously into many interior design schemes. When closed, it sits flush with the worktop. When needed, a light press on the cover is all it takes for the integrated spring mechanism to raise the housing. The retractable socket then provides two Schuko sockets, arranged side by side. As a result, the double socket requires only a shallow installation depth of less than 48 mm. This is beneficial in terms of space requirements if there are drawers or pull-outs underneath. During installation, the cable outlet on the underside should also be taken into account. A 200 cm long mains connection cable, including a Schuko plug, is supplied. This allows the double socket to be powered directly, for example via a floor socket. The unit is made from easy-care plastic. A range of different front panel designs is available.
