The robust COMPAIR® STEEL flow shut-off device serves as a fire damper in the recirculation ducts of the extractor system. The damper is triggered at approximately 70 °C. It can be combined with 150 mm diameter circular ducts from the COMPAIR® STEEL flow series and is also compatible with plastic ducts. The fire damper operates particularly quietly. It is manufactured from galvanised steel, which is rust-resistant and non-combustible. The component offers a fire resistance rating of 90 minutes (K 90) and is classified in accordance with DIN EN 18017-3. It also holds a DIBt certificate. The fire damper can be installed either horizontally or vertically.
