Description

The COMPAIR^® window contact switch for trough ventilators only allows the exhaust air system to be used when the window is tilted or completely open. To determine this state, the two-part contact switch is attached to the window frame as well as to the window sash. The built-in receiver integrated via the fan motor supply line receives the relevant information wirelessly via radio signal. Since the electrical system of the trough ventilator or the extractor bonnet is interfered with, the warranty conditions of the respective manufacturer should be taken into account before use. With the help of an external antenna, difficult reception conditions in the kitchen can be overcome, for example, if the unit is installed under a stainless steel cover. The complete package includes the batteries required for operation, including battery monitoring. More safety is provided by the radio monitoring system, which is also integrated. In the case of a trough fan with BLDC motor, the radio exhaust control can be integrated separately via the third phase, as the required connection is often already available.

Some extractor hoods, downdraft ventilators, and ventilation systems have what is known as a BLDC motor. This can be switched separately when using the third phase (phase one and two are used for the hob). A corresponding connection is often already provided for by the appliance industry – and can be used for the wireless radio switch.

For the classic single-phase alternating current motor, we recommend 7051001.
