Thanks to its compact dimensions of 365 x 230 x 155 mm (H x W x D), the AEG U5 compact water heater solves virtually any space problem under the kitchen sink, meaning the free space in the cupboard can be used for other purposes. What’s more, the temperature of the outgoing water can be adjusted continuously from 30–85 °C. This means the U5 not only maintains the set temperature consistently but also heats up particularly quickly thanks to its 2 kW heating element. Lower water and electricity consumption therefore save you money. The tank is made of robust and durable plastic. Furthermore, compact thermal insulation keeps heated water warm for a long time. The AEG U5 small storage tank has been awarded energy efficiency class A for its efficient operation. The small storage tank is supplied ready for easy installation – complete with a safety plug and wall mounting bracket.
The AEG U5 electric hot water storage tank must only be operated with a suitable low-pressure tap. You can recognise this by the three connection hoses. Installation takes place at the cold water connection in the kitchen.
Please note that the appliance must not be exposed to direct water pressure. The tap spout also serves to vent the system. Limescale deposits can block this spout, which may cause pressure to build up inside the appliance.
