Description

The main task of the COMPAIR GREENflow Control^® control unit is to determine the optimum time for a filter change within the GREENflow filter system. This is used as an innovative recirculation solution in downdraft recirculation systems, which also include trough fans. The control unit can be retrofitted and is connected directly to the GREENflow filter box, which contains the high-performance OMEGA filters. Regardless of the service life, the filter load is checked and classified on the basis of the cooking behaviour. A signal tone when the fan is switched on and off indicates in three stages whether regeneration or replacement of the filters is necessary. In stages 2 and 3, the signal also sounds every 5 minutes or every 5 seconds while the fan is in operation. Based on the intervals, the urgency of the change is emphasised acoustically. The control unit allows simultaneous use of up to four filter boxes, which significantly increases the running time. When the filters are removed, the control unit is automatically reset via the integrated light sensor.
