The COMPAIR® flow E-Jal 150 wall-mounted unit with integrated THERMOBOX significantly improves the indoor climate when used in conjunction with a cooker hood. It reliably directs exhaust air out of the room via the air duct. At the same time, the system prevents heat loss from the room and the ingress of cold outside air. The wall box is fitted with a telescopic pipe that houses the THERMOBOX, a built-in heat retention system. In combination with the E-Jal stainless steel external louvre, this results in up to 20 times less heat loss compared to standard non-return flaps. There are no vibrations or rattling noises. The THERMOBOX, which opens at 65 Pa, is Blower Door certified. The wall box, including the THERMOBOX, thus makes an effective contribution to energy saving. The wall box is connected to a round pipe via a hose/pipe connector with a diameter of 150 mm. The installation depth of the wall box varies from 350 to 500 mm, whilst the pipe can be shortened to 255 mm – making the ducting suitable for various wall thicknesses. A wall opening with a diameter of approx. 155 mm is required for installation.
